Well it's happened, I've taken the plunge and started the blog. It's been something in my head, (along with a million other things) and many of you have been asking for it, so here goes....................

We all had a brilliant and I mean BRILLIANT demonstration day with Lynn Robinson-Hunter of Elusive Images. Lynn amazed us all with her creativity, providing us with great techniques to use on stampbord and tags. Stampbord is one of my favourite products as it is so versatile. You can use ink pads, inks, paints, crayons, chalks, spray inks, well almost any medium, as a background on this product. This is why it's so user friendly, you can hardly go wrong. If you do, just sand it back using oil free wire wool and start again!!! When the background is finished the fun starts. Lynn used some lovely ELUSIVE IMAGES rubber stamps which sold like hot cakes. The stampbord tiles were finished using various techniques including waxing, clear embossing and intaglio.
During the afternoon, Lynn amazed us with her with tag art creations, using direct to paper technique, spritzing with the stunning collection of spray inks by STICKY FINGERS and heat embossing. The effects were beautiful. We must try it out on a class.
Our next event is our dabble day, so check out he details on the web site. It's sure to be a fun day and add more to our fund raising which will soon be drawing to an end.
